This award acknowledges individuals, businesses or organisations that have had an ongoing relationship with the community through their
voluntary contribution or social enterprise status.
Who Should Apply?
This award is open to any individual, business or organisation within the Borough of Coleraine actively providing a voluntary contribution to the community.
How will the award be judged?
All applicants must provide written evidence in all of the following areas on company letterhead by 5pm on Thursday 31st March 2011 to Coleraine Borough Business Awards, Coleraine Borough Chamber, 2 Abbey Street, Coleraine, BT52 1DS.
- Provide a profile of your business/organisation outlining why, how and when it was established (max 500 words)
- Identify initiatives that your business/organisation has implemented that make a positive impact on the local community or individuals (max 500 words)
- Provide evidence of collaboration between the business and the community, highlighting clear and measurable benefits to both. (max 500 words)
- Outline your strategy for ongoing development and growth that will ensure long term sustainability of the social enterprise and provide examples of successful implementation to date. (max 1,000 words)
All short listed candidates for this award may be required to attend an interview with our panel of judges in April 2011.
