Chamber of Commerce hosts Bank of England


Causeway Chamber of Commerce hosted the Bank of England’s Agent in Northern Ireland, Ms Frances Hill recently at a business lunch in the Portrush Atlantic Hotel where she addressed business representatives from a wide spectrum of business interests.

Frances Hill, who represents the Bank of England in the Province, gave a detailed illustrated presentation on the state of the economy and presented the banks forecasts for future economic prospects, consumer spending, business investments and spoke of the latest November Inflation report released on 2nd November.

“Ms Hill’s presentation was extremely informative and useful as our members plan for the future of their businesses. Participants spoke enthusiastically of the value of the information received from the presentation and highlighted particularly their appreciation for the updates from Ms Hill and indeed the fantastic opportunity to network with many other businesses from across the Borough.
