During the Unmissable 2017 Dubai Duty Free (DDF) Irish Open the spotlight of the world’s media will be shining on the Causeway Coast and Glens (CCAG) area. Has your business the global standard customer service tools, and visitor knowledge, to tee off and play a winning round with the many thousands of visitors every day?

This tailored training programme offers front-line staff, and their managers, the tools and knowledge to become effective ambassadors for the CCAG area, creating opportunities for local businesses to maximise their impact with visitors and turn visitors into prospective clients.

WORLDHOST® DDF Irish Open Ambassador is an internationally recognised, accredited, customer service qualification that has been specifically tailored for this global event. It will cover not only key aspects of customer service tools and knowledge but also information on the tournament, players and spectator facilities including logistical elements such as local transport arrangements and road traffic information. Your people will have the knowledge to go that extra mile for your customers, promoting your business, services, products and destination and creating selling opportunities.

This interactive half-day workshop, developed in partnership by Tourism NI and Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, will:
Include experiential, multimedia, learning and a bus tour to cement participants’ knowledge of Portstewart Golf Club, event transport routes, bus stops and traffic arrangements;
Provide current information on the events programme in Portstewart and local areas;
Equip you and your people have the knowledge to answer customers’ likely questions and confidence to make their experience an enjoyable one.
Include lunch, training materials and a WORLDHOST® lapel pin & certificate for successful participants.
Significant partnership funding from Tourism NI and Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will reduce the cost to only £15pp (normally £60pp)

You can register for place/s at one of the planned workshops, which will take place at FLOWERFIELDS ARTS CENTRE: 10am – 2.30pm on 19th (WHA1) or 21st (WHA2) June 2017. Note : Places are limited and will be allocated on a 1st Come, 1st Allocated.
