Professor Robert Hutchinson, Provost of the Coleraine campus, in partnersip with Causeway Chamber invites you to the Provost’s Annual Business Lecture entitled "Rising to the Business Challenge of Achieving Sustainable Competitiveness" by Professor Feargal McCormack BSc PGDip FCA, Managing Partner of FPM Chartered Accountantsand Visiting Professor in the Ulster Business School.
Professor Feargal McCormack began his accounting career with KPMG in the early 1980s. Following a period with the Industrial Development Board (now Invest NI) he established FPM Chartered Accountants in 1991. Professor McCormack has over twenty years experience in helping private and public sector organisations review, develop and implement strategic planning across a broad range of sectors. He has been very successful as a mentor and coach to some of Ireland’s most dynamic growth companies and has been heavily involved in advising on management buy-outs and buy-ins, and bank restructuring assignments.
Feargal is engaged with a number of community based organisations and professional bodies including The Prince’s Trust, Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade, The Ulster Society of Chartered Accountants and Newry and Mourne Health and Social Services Trust. A regular presenter and acknowledged expert on cross-border business on the island of Ireland, he has recently been appointed to the post of Visiting Professor in the Ulster Business School.
"Rising to the Business Challenge of Achieving Sustainable Competitiveness" will take place on Wednesday 28 March 2012 at 6.00pm in the Riverside Theatre, Coleraine campus followed by a fork supper.
