Host Caroline O’Neill (Founder of Digg for Success, The Digg Podcast, Digg Deep for Kids and Cofounder of the NI Social Media Awards), will be interacting with speakers and attendees, exploring how we can embrace equity and truly make a difference throughout all aspects of society.

The conference line-up represents an incredible display of female business founders, experts and empowerment advocates, working across politics, education and the community and voluntary sectors.

Among the panellists will be eleven-time British National Champion figure skater, and Founder and CEO of Chique Sportswear, Jenna McCorkell.  Aged just 14, she became the first female skater from Northern Ireland to compete in the World Junior Championships. Now a successful coach and mentor, Jenna recently made it onto Dragons Den and will be sharing her business-oriented family lifestyle and exciting plans for the months ahead.

Also joining the panel will be Elanna MaGowan, co-founder and creator of the million-pound beauty brand, Pearl Beauty, who will be explaining just how she went about achieving global sales and success in her first year of business, with the launch of her own line of essential beauty & makeup products. Elanna will be reflecting on her move to Northern Ireland, motherhood and mastering fashion & beauty vlogging, which has extensively boosted sales and her online following.

Empowering and engaging panel conversations, with women from all fields of business and community, will offer the opportunity to hear about career-defining moments, key achievements and personal experiences of making, and seeing a difference.

The Employability and Skills panel will see Angela Scanlon, Director of Employability and Careers, Ulster University; Christine Brown, Vice Principal Teaching & Learning, Northern Regional College; and Lynn Carvill, CEO, WOMENSTEC unpack how education can help overcome barriers and challenges, for all ages, enabling learners to enhance life’s opportunities.

Louise Coyle, CEO Northern Ireland Rural Women’s Network; Janet Schofield, CEO Compass Advocacy Network; and Claire Mulrone, Community Engagement Manager at Ulster University are passionate, change makers, working in our local community and voluntary sector. Delegates will be inspired by these dynamic and visionary leaders, as they share the diverse range of innovative services and social enterprise activities that they are bringing to market, within their local communities.

The conference will take place on Tuesday 7 March, 9am – 2.30pm and will include lunch.
