Family Business of the Year

This award celebrates the vital role family businesses play in the economy and community across the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough. It recognises businesses that successfully combine strong family values with entrepreneurial excellence, long-term vision, and a commitment to sustainable growth. This category honours those who exemplify the strength, resilience, and distinctive character of family-run enterprises.

Who should apply?

This category is open to all family-owned and family-managed businesses located within the Causeway Coast & Glens Borough—regardless of size or sector. Eligible businesses must be significantly influenced by one or more family members in key leadership or operational roles.

firmus energy network is supporting significant reductions to Northern Ireland’s carbon emissions by converting homes and businesses from oil to natural gas, and this support will become even greater with the introduction of renewable energy to the gas network and the role it will play in achieving Northern Ireland’s ambitions for net zero carbon by 2050.
