Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, in association with the Derry City and Strabane District Council and Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, is holding a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event as part of the Business Boost Programme. The aim of the programme is to provide comprehensive support to equip local SME’s with the skills and confidence to maximise on the business opportunities available to them and increase their sustainability and growth. The programme provides a major boost to promoting the area as an enterprising region and provides a real opportunity to meet the needs of a developing and expanding business base.
About the Meet the Buyer Event
Procurement is a cornerstone of the Business Boost Programme with the aim of ensuring our local small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) have the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to successfully tender for public sector and big business contracts.
The Meet the Buyer Event is the main activity taking place on Friday 9th March 2018 at the City Hotel, the purpose of this event is two-fold:

To assist local SMEs to grow and showcase their business to a very important and influential public sector and big business audience

To provide public sector and big businesses with the opportunity to meet existing and potential new suppliers under the one roof
