Coleraine firm Armstrong Medical must expand if it is to continue playing an essential role in the fight against Covid.

Armstrong Medical has submitted plans with Causeway Coast & Glens Council seeking approval for buildings housing a new production line and warehouse storage.

As a consequence of the Covid 19 pandemic there has been a significant increase in the demand for the respiratory medical products manufactured at the existing facility. The purpose of the proposed extension is to allow Armstrong Medical to meet this current and urgent demand for thei products and allow them to undertake further product development in this specialised area.

The firm predicts the expansion will lead to substantial growth of the business with a knock on positive economic benefit for the wider community.
