The only way is up as Marine Hotel announces an expansion to the venue as part of its latest investment of £1.25 Million. In Spring 2022, Marine Hotel will unveil 10 new bedrooms bringing its total number of bedrooms to 51, making it one of the leading hotels on the famous Causeway Coastal Route. The additional bedrooms will give more guests the opportunity to see what Ballycastle, Causeway Coast and Glens of Antrim has to offer as a top Northern Ireland destination.

That’s not all, the project will also create a new adaptable events space which opens more opportunities for groups, parties and events in its prominent seafront position. The project began in November 2021 and aims to be complete by early spring 2022.

Back in 2013 when the hotel was acquired by current directors, business partners and lifelong friends Colum McLornan & Claire Hunter, they have completely transformed the hotel state to a modern, beachfront venue. In the past number of years the refurbishments and renovations have included a transformation of the lounge, bar & bistro, the addition of the beach house and an all new ballroom to host weddings and events.

The hotel has become a highly sought after venue for groups & tours, families, couples and those wishing to tie the knot by the sea. The latest investment will create additional employment and proposes to generate further revenue into the local economy with its increased occupancy.
