Chamber President commends students work at opening of Ulster University Media Graduate Show

Anthony Newman, president of the Causeway Chamber of Commerce, officially opened the Media Graduate Show 2017 at Ulster University, Coleraine. The exhibition included over 20 short films, interactive photography, websites and installations.
Mr Newman commended the students for the work they had done particularly with charities locally and across Northern Ireland. Students also worked in teams to re-brand a number of local charities including Building Ballysally Together and Stepping Stones crèche, Portstewart and several other projects across Northern Ireland.
Guest speaker Helen Thompson, Head of Talent Management at BBC NI, said the quality and range of work was exceptional. Over 200 people attended the opening event including some potential investors in the new Atlantic Link enterprise campus at the edge of the campus.
Dr Colm Murphy, Head of School of Media, Film and Journalism, said:
“We are committed to working with both the community and council in turning Atlantic Link into a successful digital hub.”
The exhibition is open to the public 10am-4pm to 25 May 2017 in the I Block, Ulster University, Coleraine. All welcome and admission is free.
