Draft Causeway Coast and Glens Community Plan (2017-2030) Consultation
Causeway Coast and Glens Draft Community Plan ‘A Better Future Together’ Consultation Opportunity
For the past nine months Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council have been engaging and consulting with you about some of the issues in Causeway Coast and Glens that you feel a Community Plan should address and thank you for your help with this.
They have taken all your feedback, plus statistical evidence and expert opinion and used it to develop a draft Community Plan for the Causeway Coast and Glens area.
The draft Causeway Coast and Glens Community Plan – ‘A Better Future Together’.
The draft Plan sets out our aspirations for the year 2030.
It is an ambitious plan and takes a holistic approach to what we want to try and achieve. The plan is centred on three population outcomes, eleven high-level outcomes supported by a range of intermediate outcomes alongside the indicators that will show us if we are making progress. It focuses on the results or outcomes we want to achieve for the Causeway Coast and Glens area. The next stage in the Community Planning process will involve the development of a ‘Delivery Plan’ that will focus on what needs to be done, by whom and how.
Before we finalise and publish the Community Plan we want to undertake another short consultation exercise. This consultation exercise seeks to gather some feedback on whether the document explains what each outcome means. Is it clear what issues and problems the Community Plan will actually try to address? Have we selected the correct indicators to monitor the impact of the Community Plan?
