Live Workshop | The Future of Hospitality: Revive and Thrive Together

Ulster University will be hosting a live online workshop on 12th August to provide the hospitality sector with an opportunity to network, share best practice and discuss ongoing issues.
The socio-economic fallout from COVID-19 has caused exceptional disruption to the hospitality industry with social distancing having vast implications on consumer behaviour and operational practices.
As the sector begins to reopen in Northern Ireland, business owners are faced with the tough challenge of operating in line with new safe working procedures, often at a reduced capacity.
This live online workshop has been designed to provide business owners and staff working in the hospitality sector with an opportunity to network, share best practice and discuss the ongoing issues encountered within the industry. Through interactive breakout sessions, participants will hear from leading academics in areas such as innovation, entrepreneurship and change with the purpose of co-creating practical solutions to the challenges identified.
The workshop will allow participants to collaborate with one another and explore how to use COVID-19 as an opportunity to thrive. Discussions may involve:
How to navigate social distancing rules while preserving the consumer experience
How to use COVID-19 as an opportunity to innovate and thrive
New opportunities to bring back customers
The hidden costs of the pandemic for the hospitality sector
