Translink announces special Christmas services for Coleraine
In honour of December’s Small Business Saturday, Ian Donaghey, President, Causeway Chamber of Commerce, and Annette Deighan, Operations Manager, Causeway Chamber of Commerce, recently joined Translink driver Colm McIlfatrick at the Coleraine Bus Centre to call on the public to support the local Coleraine economy and public transport this holiday season.
Just in time for Christmas, Translink has announced special Christmas fares for the Coleraine area. Lynda Shannon, Communications Manager for Translink, explains:
“We are delighted to bring in our new £2 Ulsterbus day return fare to entice local shoppers into their local towns and cities across NI helping to boost the local economy at this important time of the year.
“We also know many people like to get out and about with family and friends at this time of the year too whether it is to buy presents, see Santa or a enjoy social occasion so we want to remind people of the range of everyday offers available like our 1/3 off day return tickets on Goldline and NI Railways.
“We have many more offers for public transport this season, so we encourage everyone to check out our website or talk to a Translink representative for more information. We hope these special services help our passengers have a very Merry Christmas this year.”
