New podcast aims to support businesses venturing into online selling with insights from industry professionals.

Local entrepreneur, John Walker, Founder of Vend Digital, launches “Sell More Stuff”, a podcast designed to assist businesses hoping to establish a new online shop or product.

John’s podcast is now accessible on platforms like Spotify, Amazon, Apple, and YouTube. His mission is to provide valuable advice to companies worldwide, with tips and insights from successful online store owners and other industry professionals. The debut episode in September, titled “How to get Started”, features two notable guests: Colin Christie, the owner of Christies Direct, and Andi Jarvis, Marketing Strategist at Eximo Marketing. The episode delves into creating brand guidelines, formulating marketing strategies, and understanding the challenges of initiating an online business venture.

“Make sure that people want your product,” Colin Christie advised during the interview.

John Walker has been involved in the realm of eCommerce and Advertising since obtaining his degree in Interactive Digital Media from the University of Central Lancashire in 2010. In September 2022, he established Vend Digital. John initiated a networking group for local businesses in the Digital, Tech, and creative sectors named North Coast Digital Collective, supported by Enterprise Causeway in February 2023.
