New £57m health and wellness resort is being planned for Bushmills
Published on:March 24, 2022

A new £57m health and wellness resort is being planned for Bushmills. The project seeks to build on and transform the north coast’s tourism potential. More top quality tourism accommodation is needed to turn day trippers into overnight stays – this will benefit our existing retail, leisure and tourism operators.

The resort amenities will include a luxury spa, pool and restaurant.  This 5* offering will sit nestled within a network of indoor and outdoor spaces, designed with health and wellness at its core. This resort will also appeal to visitors that want to explore all the north coast has to offer.

It’s still very early in the design process, however the project promoters and design team are seeking early views from key stakeholders, including local communities and businesses.

Please come along to one of the public events, find out more about the plans and give your views:

The first event is on 31st March at 9:30am –2:30pm at Bushmills Community Centre, 14 Dunluce Road, Bushmills.  There will also be an afternoon event from 3pm-5.30pm at Hallidays of Bushmills, Straid Road, Bushmills. At this event you will have the opportunity to see the site and hear about the plans. The design team will provide  presentation of the scheme at 4pm.

The second event is on 28th April 2022 from 1pm – 5:30pm at The Arcadia, East Strand, Portrush.

Both events are ‘drop-in’ so please come along at your convenience.
